Welcome to the UKKW Home Page. We have a number of traditional karate clubs situated between the East Midlands and North Wales (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire & Leicestershire, Powys & Shropshire) with a healthy membership, all of whom are members of the English Karate Federation. We subscribe to the values and protocols supported by the English Karate Federation and intend to promote growth in knowledge and experience indefinitely.

We want no nonsense karate for all of our members.

The UKKW makes up a significant proportion of the Wado International Karate-Do Federation (WIKF - England) which has a large international represention under professor Tatsuo Suzuki.

Our group is led by Sensei David Allsop (7th Dan/Chief Director) and Tony Utting (5th Dan/CEO).

The UKKW prides itself on high standards and the provision of group, private and specialised training forums. We host tournaments and courses focusing on Wado Ryu Karate from the heart.
